Wildlife Academy
The Outpost Wildlife Academy is dedicated to providing a comprehensive and immersive educational experience in the fields of wildlife conservation, game management, animal health, and equine studies. Our academy is ideal for students seeking a meaningful gap year opportunity or those passionate about building a career working with animals and nature.
At The Outpost Wildlife Academy, students enjoy hands-on training surrounded by a diverse range of wildlife, including zebra, eland, gemsbok, springbok, black impala, blesbok, reedbuck, black wildebeest, and many bird species. While larger or more elusive animals such as lions, elephants, and rhinos are not found on our property, we organize exciting excursions to nearby game reserves where students can study these species in their natural habitats. These trips form an essential part of our program, offering valuable real-world insight into wildlife conservation and management.
